Balanced.
Experienced.
Dear Eastpointe Neighbors:
Thank you for considering me to be Eastpointe’s Judge. I am running for the position because I believe in our community.
I believe in the law. I have worked very hard in the legal community since my first job as a runner for a law firm back in 1981. I became an attorney because of my love for the law. I have dedicated myself to the law through the years.
It is my desire to improve the Eastpointe District Court. I want everyone that finds themselves in the Court to feel that they were treated with the dignity and respect that we are all due.
I have worked for over 30 years in the legal profession and I have been involved in many different types of legal cases, in various capacities. I have worked in Circuit Court as a Law Clerk. I have worked in a Governmental job as a research assistant.
I have worked in various courts (including Municipal Courts, District Courts, Circuit Courts, Probate Courts, Federal Courts, and Bankruptcy Courts). My diversity of experience and strong work ethic gives me the talent set to make a Judge that all Eastpointers can be proud of and respect.
I believe in being tough but fair. We need to protect our community and the strong values that we represent as a community. I know that as a Judge I will have to punish people that need punishment but I promise you that I will work just as hard to help the people who need help, if the circumstances so justify. I promise to be tough but fair. Service to others is something that I have lived my entire life. Please allow me to serve as the next 38th District Court Judge.
