Balanced.
Experienced.

Dear Eastpointe Neighbors:

Thank you for your continued trust in me as Eastpointe’s 38th District Court Judge. I am asking for your vote to reelect me in November 2026.

I believe in the law. I have worked hard in the legal community since my first job as a runner for a law firm back in 1981, and I’ve now had the honor of serving as your Judge since 2020.

Over these past several years on the bench, it has been my mission to make sure everyone who comes before the Eastpointe District Court is treated with the dignity and respect they deserve.

Before taking the bench, I spent over 30 years in the legal profession across many types of cases — as a Law Clerk in Circuit Court, as a research assistant in a governmental role, and across Municipal, District, Circuit, Probate, Federal, and Bankruptcy Courts. That breadth of experience has shaped how I run this courtroom.

I believe in being tough but fair. I’ve worked to protect our community and its values — holding people accountable when needed, while working just as hard to help those who need help when circumstances justify it. Service to others has been my life’s work. I ask for your vote to continue serving as your 38th District Court Judge.
